Tiburon and Discovery Museum

Nearing the end of Dad's paternity leave, we decided to really get out of the house and go to Tiburon for lunch at Guayamas, a well-know Mexican restaurant right on the water's edge with fantastic views of San Francisco. It was our first real experiment with a newborn and toddler to see if we could really get through a meal in one piece. Sean slept peacefully until the food came and wanted to be held for the rest of the meal. Ahhhh, the days of all of us eating at the same time were slowly disappearing. We had to juggle Sean between the both of us while sneaking in a bite here and there and trading off who got to eat. After our lunch we went to the Discovery Bay Museum in Sausalito. Elise had a great time playing in their toddler area which had a makeshift stream with rubber sea animals. But her favorite activity was playing the xylophone. Complete with her own backup guitar player and drummer, she really got into the groove entertaining a small crowd.
