Happy 1-Month Birthday Sean
When they say time flies, it really flies. It is unbelievable to us that one month has already passed since we had Sean. Time just seems to melt away. In one month, we are starting to see bits of Sean's personality. He's a great sleeper once you can get him to calm down. Sometimes it's hard to get him to fall asleep since he seems to fight it off but once lights are out, they are out. You can pretty much put him down and walk away for 3-4 hours. We remember how it was virtually impossible to put Elise down. She just liked to be held all the time and it took a prayer every time one of us was brave enough to try to place her in the crib. He still has his nights mixed up with his days, preferring to sleep alot during the day with long periods of alertness at night. During those times, Mom will stay up with him just to watch his big eyes search the room for something to focus on. Sometimes, it's Mom's eyes that he's locked on or the dim light in the hallway. It's during the peace and quiet of the night, that Sean is most adorable and content. He coos and gurgles and his eyes are as wide as saucers. It's these private moments that are the most precious and disappear all too quickly. His body movements are still very uncontrolled with his fists and legs jerking erratically like a cat pawing at an unreachable object. He's definitely a solid eater but prefers to eat his meals quickly before dozing off. We can already feel the pounds piling on and see his cheeks and legs filling out.
