Feed Me, Feed Me!

We all know how much Elise loves to eat. Instead of listing her favorite foods which would be everything, the only thing she seems to dislike are bananas (not fond of the texture) and ground turkey that has been cooked too long. That's about it. She LOVES and we mean LOVES tangerines. She will jump up and down in her seat if she even catches sight of the little things and be prepared when you are down to your last section because she will throw a fit if you run out. Everytime we get down to the last 2 or 3 sections, we have to prepare her and show her that there's only 2 left, then 1. Dad has even resorted to taking her out of the chair and holding her for the last piece so she can be comforted. We'd like to give her tangerines all day long but that doesn't seem to be a very balanced meal.

Elise has started to use a spoon to feed herself and it's so funny to watch her try to hold the spoon and get food in her mouth. If the food isn't clingy like yogurt, most of the time the food drops off before it reaches her mouth and when she puts the spoon in with nothing on it, she looks so confused.
