It took some cajoling to get Elise on her new pony (a gift from Uncle Roland and Aunt Cham). At first she flipped out and wouldn't touch it. We think she has a fear of live animals, a trait she probably got from Mom. When she is up close to anything she thinks might be "alive" she shakes and starts to cry. After pounding on the pony and letting her pet it for a while, she reluctantly sat and rocked on it.
